Hey everyone, maybe you have noticed when you came to visit the page that there has been sone weird changes. Like I had mentioned before in a previous post I updated the software on the server to a newer version and I am testing out the new and brilliant features. Im also trying to not heavily code the blog at the same time but thats proving hard. The one thing that i feel is really missing from the blog is a proper, easy to use “Gallery” page. That is my main target at the moment. So what i wanted just to say was maybe youll come across me editing a few things but no panic, the site is still working fine.

So this will be my last blog post for the next few days/week. Going back to jolly old England on Tuesday, back to the real world so to say. The time at home was fantastic as always, some work to do but i love spending every minute with juli, stressed or not. The next few weeks include loads of essays, studying and lots and lots of exams but so remember to send a message and say hello. Thanx for everyones support and i hope you all had a wonderful time @ easter!

Hey everyone, im sure you have noticed a few changes to the site over the last few days. I finally got a theme working and working well. I also added a brand new gallery software to the server which allows me to add albums instead of single pictures. If you follow this link then you can check out the pictures i have uploaded. Im going to be uploading some crazy pictures all tomorrow plus need to do some ‘url’ editing. Hope you enjoy it.

Hallo liebe freunde, sicher habt ihr gemerkt das ich eine neues ‘Theme’ fur die Seite gemacht habe…endlich. Ich kann auch jetzt photo albums erstellen auf der Seite. Ich muss auch ein paar andere ‘coding’ sachen machen aber die Seite ist fast fertig. Ich hoffe es gefallt euch.

Today me and Juli decided to take a trip to a “MiddelAge Festival” that was taking place in a town called Goch that is not far from where we live. The day started off with us getting a little lost but we eventually found our way. Juli told me that there is a bigger and better Middle Age Festival in her town outside Berlin but i didnt expect this place to be that small. We left to late in the day and didnt get to see everything, but we got to see a few fights plus some music. It was a nice way to spend out Easter Sunday even though it was a little cold. Tea was in order hehe. Enjoy the photos and let me know what you think.

Heute haben Juli und ich einen Ausflug zum ‘Mittelalterfest’ gemacht, es war in Goch, eine kleine Stadt ganz in der Naehe. Am Anfang haben wir uns ein bisschen verfahren, aber sind am Ende doch an unserem Ziel gelandet . Juli hat mir erzaehlt, dass es ein besseres und groesseres Mittelalterfest in der Naehe von Berlin gibt, aber ich habe nicht gedacht, dass es hier so klein sein wuerde. Wir sind zu spaet losgefahren und haben dadurch nicht mehr alles erlebt, aber wir haben noch ein paar Kaempfe und Musik gesehen bzw. gehoert. Es war schoen, so den Ostersonntag zu verbringen, selbst wenn es ein bisschen kalt war. (Tee hat uns ein bisschen aufgewaermt). Viel Spass beim Fotos gucken und sagt mir bescheid, was ihr denkt.

I got the best surprise ever when i arrived home for easter, Jule had bought for my birthday (ok my birthday isnt for a while) tickets to go to the “Hurricane Festival” in Germany in June. What a surprise, and the best line up, some of which incluse, Billy Talent, The Beatsteaks, Turbostaat, The subways and loads of other bands. This has to be the best present that i have ever got for my birthday. You can have a look here at the great lineup and all the other stuff to expect.

Ich habe das beste Geschenk ueberhaupt fuer meinen Geburtstag dieses Jahr bekommen. Ok mein Geburtstag ist noch weit weg, aber Juli und ich konnten nicht warten. Ich habe Tickets bekommen fuer das ‘Hurricane Festival’ im Juni!!!! Yeahhhhhhh!!! Und das coolste ist, das ‘Line-up’ dieses Jahr ist unglaublich, z.B die Beatsteaks, Billy Talent, die Subways und viele mehr. Das ist einfach das allerbeste Geschenk. Ich freu mich unglaublich darauf und ich zaehle die Tage bis August.

Today sees the re-release of the famous but not yet so popular “Neils News Page”.

I figured that since there was a new release of the blogging software that im using, Wordpress 2.5, then why not get this blog/website up again. I mean the space is sitting free on the server so why not!!
I would LOVE it if you can send me some comments or message and tell me what you like and what you dont like.
The topic got a little off track last time round and we we’re getting spammed like hell but these small but important problems have been fixed, a dirty fix, but fixed none the less!

Fingers crossed, there is a really big project for me getting off the ground in two months, its going to be fun…and more than a few will reap the benefits!

Hey everyone once again for the first time in a very long time….

Its been such a crazy few weeks that i just didnt have the time to write something on here. Over the last few weeks i have been with my girlfriend twice, been in Germany once, got the results of my exams, had a surprise visit from Juli last week and hmm loads of other little kool things.

Juli celebrated her birthday in february, for which i travelled back home to celebrate, a great time with her and of course her great parents who took a few days out to visit us at home. We had a few great days in which we used every minute to do stuff for jules birthday. After a few days with her parents, they left for Berlin again and me and Juli did what couples do….go shopping;) The thought of finally getting home and spending time with her is one of great relief, great relief to see her and a great relief to get out of England and go home. Things at home have never been better, sooo good!! My time at home, although super good was clouded with the thought of the amount of work that needed to be done when i got back to shit hole Preston. the work never seems to end, to this day which is almost one month later, still doesnt seem to have an end, who the hell said that uni was all fun. In between all the fun at home in Germany i had some nice day trips to Manchester, where i get to hang out with my uncle for a few hours and have a good chat. I also get to take an hour for myself anf hang in the apple store. OMG, i really really want an apple laptop, they are just the A class of laptops for soo many reasons.

I also took a hell of a lot of time to design the new blog, which still isnt finished, sadly. I hope you like the new banner me and a friend of mine created, well i got the pictures and she did the actual design hehe. I also kind of stole her layout but as i said ill get around to changing a few things so there is a difference. She also has a blog for which a dedicated some of my time to pimping out, stuff behind the scenes that make a site what it really is, i gave it some love.

The biggest thing that happened in the last week was Juli lying in my bed when i arrived home from class one day, one of the best surprises ive had in the last few years. It was crazy to see her, such a good feeling, a feeling of being home. we spent the first day of course lying around and then the next day just chilling in Manchester doing some great shopping. Juli found herself some tights but thats all haha, shes going to kill me for writing that. We spent the next few days hanging around university and doing work sadly, im too busy to take the whole week off and she has exams when she gets back, but id rather have her here studying beside me, instead of a million miles away. We also took the time out to go to Blackpool. This place is one of the weirdest places on earth, a real weird city, a place for Romeo and Juliet to be filmed. Imagine that scene at the start of the movie where Romeo is smoking writing in a book under the theatre, well thats Blackpool. Everywhere was closed and the town was full of poverty, the people walk around there are totally at the end, at the end of a very short thread. Everyone was walked past asked us for money, people are even happy when you shake their hand ans most of the people that go there are snobby people from the south of England taking their kids to the beach for the day. I couldnt wait for it to be over, and Jule agreed. We left with the thought that we wouldnt be back. Watching the sun go down before we left was a real highlight though.

Jule left on the Wednesday morning under some tears even though we are going to be with each other very soon and i went back to writing law essays and looking at dead bodies…ooo the life haha. The next week is going to be crazy, five papers and only 11 days. When its over i will just sleep!

Jetzt auf Deutsch!!

Die letzten Wochen waren ziemlich verrückt und ich hatte einfach keine Zeit etwas zu schreiben. Ich war eine Woche in Deutschland, hab meine Prüfungsergebnisse bekommen, bekam einen Überraschungsbesuch von Juli letzte Woche und … hmm … viele andere kleine Dinge.

Um Julis Geburtstag im Februar zu feiern bin ich nachhause nach Deutschland gefahren, ich hatte eine wunderschöne Zeit mit ihr und natürlich ihren Eltern, die uns für ein paar Tage besuchen kamen. Nachdem sie wieder nach Berlin zurückgefahren sind haben Juli und ich gemacht, was Paare so machen…einkaufen gehen Der Gedanke daran endgültig nachhause zu kommen und Zeit mit ihr zu verbringen ist wie eine große Erlösung, eine große Erlösung sie zu sehen und aus England raus zu kommen.
Es war noch nie schöner zuhause…soooo toll!! Jedoch war mein Kopf in dieser Zeit auch voll mit Gedanken an die Arbeit, die getan werden musste, sobald ich wieder zurück bin in im “schrecklichen” Preston. Es scheint, die Arbeit hat nie ein Ende, selbst bis zu diesem Tag, fast einen Monat später jetzt, scheint es nicht weniger geworden zu sein, wer zum Teufel hat gesagt studieren ist Spass! Zwischen all der lustigen Zeit zuhause in Deutschland hatte ich ein paar schöne Trips nach Manchester, wo ich meinen Onkel für ein paar Stunden getroffen habe und mich gut mit ihm unterhalten konnte. Ebenso hatte ich ein paar Stunden für mich alleine, in denen ich mich im Apple Store aufgehalten habe…oh god,, ich hätte so gerne einen Apple Laptop, es gibt so viele Gründe, warum Mac 1A ist.

Viel Zeit verbrachte ich auch meinen neuen Blog zu designen, welcher leider immer noch nicht fertig ist. Ich hoffe euch gefällt der neue Banner, den ich mit einer Freundin zusammen gemacht habe…ok, ich hatte die Bilder und sie machte das endgültige Design hehe. Ich habe auch ein bisschen ihr Layout geklaut, aber wie ich schon gesagt habe, möchte ich einige Dinge verändern, dass ein Unterschied zu sehen ist. Sie hat auch einen Blog, für welchen ich ebenso Zeit investiert habe um “behind the scenes” daran zu arbeiten und dem ganzen ein bisschen Liebe zu geben.

Die größte Überraschung in der letzten Woche war – eine der Besten in den letzten paar Jahren –, als ich von meiner Vorlesung nachhause kam und Jule in meinem Bett lag! Es war verrückt sie zu sehen, so ein gutes Gefühl, ein Gefühl zuhause zu sein! Die erste Zeit verbrachten wir natürlich nur mit faulenzen, am nächsten Tag fuhren wir nach Manchester zum einkaufen. Juli hat ein paar Strumpfhosen für sich gefunden, aber das war auch schon alles haha, sie wird mich umbringen für diesen Satz. Die nächsten paar Tage waren wir auf dem Campus unterwegs und erledigten Arbeit. Ich bin zu beschäftigt, dass ich die ganze Woche hätte frei nehmen können, und sie hat auch Prüfungen, wenn sie wieder daheim ist, aber mir wäre es lieber, sie würde in der Nähe studieren anstatt tausende Kilometer weit weg. Ebenso machten wir einen Trip nach Blackpool. Dieser Ort ist einer der seltsamsten auf Erden, ein Ort an dem Romeo und Julia gefilmt werden könnte. Stellt euch die Szene am Beginn des Filmes vor, in der Romeo raucht und in einem Buch schreibt…ja, das ist Blackpool. Alles war geschlossen und die Stadt war voll mit Armut, die Menschen laufen durch die Straßen und sind total am Ende. Jeder, der an uns vorbei kam fragte nach Geld, die Menschen sind sogar Glücklich, wenn du ihnen nur die Hand gibst. Die meisten Leute, die dort hingehen sind vom Süden Englands. Sie gehen mit ihren Kindern an den Strand für einen Tag. Ich konnte es nicht erwarten, bis es vorbei war, auch Jule war total geschockt. Wir haben Blackpool mit dem Gedanken verlassen, nie wieder zurückzukommen. Den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten war ein richtiges Highlight an diesem Tag!

Am Mittwochmorgen ist Juli mit ein paar Tränen begleitet nach Hause gefahren, obwohl wir uns sehr bald schon wieder sehen. Ich bin wieder meiner Arbeit nachgegangen…essays schreiben und tote Körper anschauen…ooo das ist das Leben haha! Die nächste Woche wird verrückt sein, 5 Aufsätze in 11 Tagen…ich werde nur noch schlafen, wenn es vorbei ist!
