Hey everyone,

so me and Jule decided to take a trip to a bigger town that is about 45 mins drive from here to do some Christmas shopping. In Oberhausen there is a huge shopping centre with about 1000 shops, if you cant find something there for your mother then youll never find it, i guess ill never find it(”,) We left for Oberhausen at about 11 and didnt get back home till anout 6, it was a long day and i couldnt feel my legs or hands anymore, legs were tired and it was cold. In the end i was able to buy enough presents for my dad and Juli, my mum’s present, well hmmm ill buy that when i get back hehe.

Im going to be back in Ireland for Christmas this year, ill be leaving Germany on Sun the 23rd for good old Belfast, and celebrating Christmas with my parents for the first time in a few years. Im looking forward to it but not looking forward to leaving Juli. The time at home here couldnt not have been better, things with juli are only getting better. Ill leave with a great feeling that everything seems to be working fine. But i will say that i will miss her a lot. Then after New Years on the 2nd ill be back in Uni for my exams the following week, wish me luck!!I wish everyone who takes the time to read this a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year, thanx for reading, stay safe, stay healthy and ill see you all soon i hope!

Hallo ihr alle :),also Jule und ich hatten beschlossen in eine groessere Stadt zu fahren, um weihnachtsgeschenke zu kaufen. In Oberhausen (ca. 45 min weg von hier) gibt es ein riesiges Shoppingcenter (Centro) mit bestimmt 1000 Geschaeften. Wenn man dort nichts fuer seine Mutter findet, dann findet es man wohl nie … ich denke ich werde es nie finden ;). Wir sind ca. gegen 11 hier losgefahren und waren erst nach 18.00 zurueck, es war ein langer Tag und ich konnte meine Beine und Haende nicht mehr fuehlen, die Beine waren muede und es war sehr kalt. Schlussendlich habe ein paar Geschenke fuer meinen Dad und Juli kaufen koennen, um das Geschenk meiner Ma steht es schlecht hmmm… ich werde es wohl besorgen, wenn ich zurueck bin, hehe.

Ich werde ueber Weihnachten in Irland sein, am 23. fahre ich zurueck nach good old Belfast und feier wieder zum ersten Mal seit ein paar Jahren Weihnachten mit meinen Eltern. Ich freu mich drauf, aber ich freue mich nicht Juli alleine zu lassen. Die Zeit hier zu Hause in Kleve haette nicht schoener sein koennen, wir verstehen uns immer besser ;). Ich werde mit dem guten Gefuehl gehen, dass alles super klappt. Trotzdem muss ich sagen, dass ich sie sehr vermisse. Dann nach Sylvester, am 02.01 werde ich wieder zur Uni muessen um meine Pruefungen zu schreiben, wuenscht mir glueck!!.Ich wuensche allen ein schoenes und besinnliches Weihnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch, vielen Dank fuers lesen, bleibt sicher und gesund und ich sehe euch hoffentlich alle bald wieder!!

Woohooo finally!

First of all i would like to thank the person who made all this possible, Neels, a friend who kindly purchased the domain and allowed me to put the site on his server for no cost, and also spent a lot of his time coding,installing and designing the site. Without him this would not have been possible so a big thank you goes out to him.

So maybe your asking what all this means. Well the domain part is simply cooler, instead of having neilrooney.wordpress.com where the domain belongs to another site neilrooney.com belongs to me and no one can change it or mess around with it, basically i have the rights to the domain. The server part means that i can upload pictures finally i show you whats going on and a few other little tricks;) which will come later!!

Sorry that the address keeps changing and the site also but this one is final, well because this time its costing money hehe. Let me know what you think of the new site and what could make it better!

Wohooo endlich,

Zu aller erst moechte ich demjenigen danken, der das hier alles moeglich gemacht hat: Neels, ein Freund, Er hat fuer mich die Domain gekauft und hat mir erlaubt kostenlos seinen Server zu benutzen. Ausserdem hat er sich auch viel Zeit genommen, die Seite zu designen. Ohne Neels waere das alles nicht moeglich gewesen; also ein grosses ‘dank je wel’ an Neels.

In der letzten Zeit hatte ich viele verschiedene Blogs und ihr fragt euch vielleicht warum ich nun schon wieder etwas Neues habe … Naja, eine eigene Homepage ist einfach cooler! Der Blog ‘neilrooney.wordpress.com‘ war nicht von mir, sodass “wordpress” die Kontrolle ueber meine Domain hatte. Wordpress konnte dann Werbung auf meine Seite stellen ohne meine Zustimmung und auch meine Daten an Google verkaufen, und das wollte ich unbedingt vermeiden. ‘Neilrooney.com‘ ist meine Homepage und ich habe die Kontrolle darueber. Durch den Server kann ich jetzt endlich Bilder auf meine Seite hochladen und euch zeigen was hier in Preston so los ist. Ich kann auch ein paar andere coole Tricks machen, aber dass kommt spaeter;)

Tut mit leid, dass die Addresse sich immer aendert, aber dieses Mal ist es endgueltig.

Eure Meinung ist mir wichtig also sagt mir Bescheid was ihr denkt!

Ok so i thought id just write a little update, been working on this bloody blog all day and night and trying to find a server so i can upload pictures, but until then im going to have to host the pics elsewhere like photobucket.com. This is a small problem that im sure i can fix soon but with the christmas season approaching its kinda hard. When i finally do find a cheap server then the domain will change also to something like www.neilrooney.de but ill add some code so that an automatic redirection will happen but ill also send out an email with the new URL so no stress. In the meantime ive added a video for your viewing pleasure and if m not speaking to you personally before christmas then *Happy Christmas and a Fucked Up New Year*

So, ich wollte nur ein Update schreiben, nachdem ich Tag und Nacht an meinem Blog geschrieben habe und versuchte einen Server zu finden auf dem ich meine Bilder hochladen kann. Leider habe ich noch keinen gefunden, deshalb muss ich sie vorerst auf photobucket.com stellen. Ich hoffe, ich kann das kleine Problem nach Weihnachten beheben. Wenn ich einen Server gefunden habe, wird sich meine Domain vorraussichtlich ändern: www.neilrooney.de zum beispiel. Ich werde euch dann per email Beschied geben, wie auch eine automatische Weiterleitung auf die neue Seite einrichten. Bis dahin habe ich euch ein Video zur Unterhaltung reingestellt. Wenn wir uns nicht mehr persönlich sehen werden vor Weihnachten dann wünsche ich euch ein Frohes Fest und ein gutes neues Jahr!

I thought id start off in English as this is the language here funny enough. So yes im here in England. I wanted to get this blog up and running for a while but for some reason never got round to it but here we go anyway. So yes im studying here, BSc Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation to be exact and i love it. I think i have finally found my calling, it defo took me a while i can tell you that, but here i am. I can tell you that i have never been happier than i am doing this degree.

So a little then about the idea of the blog. I hate Myspace and facebook and all those other shit sites so i wanted to create just a normal blog about the in’s and out’s of life here in Uni. I will also be able to upload a lot more pics and they will be accessible to all so that was a point that i really needed. Since ive been here i have taken a lot of pictures but i will try to get the best together.

So i will keep this updated as much as i can. Its just before christmas so it will be a little hard but at the start of the new year i shall have more to write about and ill let you know how i did in my exams(”,)

Ich bin jetzt also hier in England. Ich wollte immer einen Blog schreiben aber ich hab es irgendwie bis jetzt nicht geschafft…endlich ist es so weit. Um genau zu sein, ich studiere hier BSC Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation, das ist wie Gerichtsmedizin und Kriminalistik, und es ist wie McDonalds…”ich liebe es”. Schließlich habe ich meine Berufung gefunden, es hat zwar lange gedauert aber im Leben kommt alles zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Ich kann euch sagen ich war noch nie glücklicher.

So, ein bisschen über diesen Blog: Ich hasse “Myspace” und “Facebook” und alle diese anderen shit Seiten, deshalb wollte ich einfach einen normalen Blog über meine “in’s and out’s” hier in Preston schreiben. Leider kann ich im Moment keine Bilder hochladen…aber hoffentlich bald, wenn ich einen Server finde.

Ich versuche euch so gut es geht auf den Laufenden zu halten. So kurz vor Weihnachten wird es ein bisschen schwer sein, aber im neuen Jahr habe ich um so mehr zu schreiben und viele Bilder zu zeigen!

Mir geht es bestens, die zwei Prüfungen, die ich schon hinter mir habe, habe ich mit einer 1 bestanden, yeah!
